Recently, our company Kubay Design had the pleasure of attending the Poznan Motorshow, one of the largest automotive exhibitions in Poland. The event was an incredible opportunity for us to showcase our exclusive Mercedes-Benz W463 6x6 Expedition, a one-of-a-kind vehicle that turned heads and stole an attention.
It’s a FIRST Expedition 6x6 Mercedes ever made, and it’s made by our Kubay Design team!
Due to the unstable situation in 2023, many people started to live outside or just have a camp more often than previously. Houses on wheels, rebuilt buses, and extended trailers are getting mass-trended products. So our Kubay Design team decided to build a tough, outstanding converted G Wagon 6x6 that carries all powerful enhancements for outdoor camp life.
Basically, it is a truck based on regular G55 AMG 2009 converted into 6x6 Mercedes G Wagon Expedition 1 of 1. Many preparations and technological implements invaded so far, so we can see now this truly masterpiece of technological off-road monster. Portal axles allow to cross through desert or swamp, original 6x6 Mercedes middle axle helps all 6 wheels to properly carry its mass and accelerate a heavy car on a road. But it’s a well-known fact that is not very interesting nowadays.
So, what does it have in technical meaning? Extended empowered winch, metallic branded roof rack with installed tent for 2 people, additional canisters for water and petrol, axe and shovel, extended ergonomic ladder, additional LED light bar equipped onto the main light spoiler, off-road carbon fiber snorkels, carbon fiber extended extra-wide fender flares, set of emblems “Expedition 1 of 1,” and special hydrophobic pick-up wood trim.
As we arrived at the venue, we were greeted by the sights and sounds of the latest and greatest cars on the market. The atmosphere was incredible, with car enthusiasts from all over the world converging to see the latest models and innovative designs. We knew that our vehicle would need to stand out among the competition, and we were confident that the Mercedes-Benz W463 6x6 Expedition would do just that.
Nearby a G Wagon, we installed a rack equipped with new car models grilles as for Mercedes, Audi and others. Own remanufactured steering wheels also took it's place there. Our team carefully prepared everything for the show, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The Expedition was customized with a stunning matte black finish and a rugged off-road look that spoke to its exceptional capabilities. With six wheels, all-wheel drive, and a powerful V8 engine, the Expedition was built to conquer any terrain, from the toughest mountain trails to the roughest city streets.
As we unveiled Expedition at the show, we were thrilled to see the positive reactions from attendees. People crowded around the vehicle, admiring its sleek design and powerful presence. We were proud to share the details of our customizations, highlighting the unique features and superior craftsmanship that make Kubay Design stand out in the automotive industry.
